People Are Sharing The "Hip" Brands From Back In The Day That Younger Generations Have Probably Never Heard Of, And Maybe It’s Time To Bring Some Of These Back

Call me old, but I think some of this stuff is still cute as hell.

Fashion is ever-changing, and while some brands recirculate back into the style zeitgeist, others are sadly lost to time.

1. "Remember Von Dutch hats and shirts? Everyone in the early 2000s was rocking that trucker hat like it was a crown. I doubt most teens today even know the name."

2. "I still have a pair of K-Swiss shoes that I got in the early 2000s. I recently started a new job, and we have casual Fridays. I wore them once, and one of the managers immediately said, 'I like your shoes, they look comfortable.' I responded, 'Thanks, they're old enough to vote.'"

4. "Jordache jeans are the only jeans that made me, someone who is built like a human zipper, look moderately sexy. They didn't give my butt any choice but to look curvy."

5. "My ankles/heels hurt just thinking about Jelly shoes."

6. "Members Only jackets! After my dad died, I was going through his closet to see what could be donated. I found a mint condition, off-white Members Only jacket and laughed/cried. I ended up asking my 11-year-old grandson if he wanted it, and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. I hope Dad is smiling from another dimension while his great-grandson wears his Members Only jacket!"

7. "I haven't seen a flamboyant Ed Hardy shirt in like 15 years."

8. "I got a Hypercolor shirt for Christmas one year, and I was afraid to wear it because supposedly it would stop changing colors if you washed it too many times."

10. "Candies — they used to be the must-have shoes for teen girls. Large chunks of beige, high-heeled plastic with colorful slide-style upper shoes."

11. "I haven't seen a piece of JNCO clothing in about 20 years."

12. "I worked at Limited Too in high school. So. Many. Monogrammed. Purses."

13. "That United Colors of Benetton blue and white rugby shirt all the girls were wearing back in the mid-80s."

14. "When I was a teenager in the early '90s, the must-have shoes were either British Knights or Troop. The larger and more protruding the tongue, the better."

15. "FUBU tracksuits."

16. "In high school, I had a little clan of rock climbing/surfer/skater buds, and every one of us had Vuarnet shades and Ocean Pacific cord shorts."

17. "Starter jackets. Those were everywhere."

18. "I'm 30 and my mom had a white, long-sleeve B.U.M. Equipment shirt that I used to steal as a kid. It was the softest, thickest cotton. I loved that shirt and I've been chasing that quality in T-shirts ever since."

19. "Mudd! I can't believe nobody has said it. Those jeans with the handprints on the ass! 😍"

20. "I have a sweater from Wet Seal that I still wear all the time! My friends think it's hysterical, but I'm just shocked it's lasted this long. I think I was in junior high when I got it, LOL."

21. "I worked two jobs in high school so I could get the LA Gear jeans and jean jacket. I had their high-tops too. I thought I was the shit."

22. "I was really into Billabong when I was younger. Never surfed a day in my life. LOL."

23. "In the late '80s, I was rocking Bugle Boy jeans, Airwalk shoes, and I had an Ocean Pacific shirt my cousin gave me because he'd grown out of it. I felt cool as fuck. I think I also had a Bad Boy Club shirt with the buff dude flexing on it."

24. "I had an ECKO UNLTD shirt that made me feel like such a badass. It was white with the logo inside of a cigar. I got hired at my first job while wearing it, LOL. I went in to fill out the application, and the manager interviewed me right then and offered me a job on the spot."

25. "I still have my No Fear swim trunks from 2003. These days, they only just manage to contain my dad bod belly, but they remind me of a simpler time."

26. "My mom would pull me out of school to go shopping at Espirit’s outlet store in a sketchy San Francisco neighborhood. If we had time, we’d hit the Jessica McClintock Gunne Sax warehouse too. It took up an entire level of the warehouse. Racks and racks of wedding and prom dresses with women stripping down to try things on in the aisles."

27. And finally, "Juicy Couture. All the girls in my high school had the velvet jogger pants with 'juicy' written across the ass."
